ReServe's READY College Counseling Program Expands Through AmeriCorps Grant:

ReServe's READY program trains ReServists in college counseling to support public school staff to help more under-served students get into college. This year ReServe piloted the program at 18 NYC public schools and, through an AmeriCorps grant, will train and place ReServists at approximately 60 schools for the 2010-2011 school year. ReServists will support school staff and college counselors to help students research and select colleges, write college essays, submit college applications, and complete financial aid applications.
