Director's Message

It has been a busy winter and with more and more opportunities arising for ReServe. Recently, ReServe was featured prominently as a pathway for transitioning to non-profit "encore careers" in the February issue of Kiplingers Retirement Report. The article reports that 21 million adults between the ages of 50 and 70 would like to find jobs that address social needs, particularly in education, health care, human services and the environment. 
 
To meet this growing interest, ReServe has invested in building its infrastructure to accommodate expansion of ReServists across the country. We recently launched a new website, are launching new and improved online portal for matching candidates to non-profits, and recently hired a new national marketing director, Dawn Mastoridis, to lead expansion efforts. The investment is showing dividends already - with expansion in existing regions, such as Long Island, NY and New Hampshire and Maine. And we're delighted to announce that our newest ReServe partner - Community Living Campaign in San Francisco - is officially launching in the Bay Area this spring!
