ReServe was featured today in an Associated Press article, “Agency pairs 55-plus professionals with nonprofits.” Included in the feature were, Gail McDaniel a ReServist who has been serving at My Sisters’ Place in White Plains since October 2011, Karen Cheeks-Lomax, Executive Director of My Sisters’ Place and Janice Chu of the New York City Department for the Aging , and Linda Breton, Director, Affiliates Relations at ReServe.
McDaniel said in the article that ReServe has helped her to stay engaged in the workplace, but in service work that is making a positive social impact. “I wanted something that felt worthwhile and the mission [at My Sisters' Place]is very powerful,” she said.
